This article describes the result of a discussion in a working group and a plenary discussion at the NATO Advanced Research Workshop on Novel approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder. Several technological challenges arepresented with regard to the basic functions of a VRET system. Most challenges are demand-driven and are focused on better ways to support the therapist, for better and more efficient treatment. Tele-care is one of the most promising but difficult challenges. The results give directions for both fundamental and practical research.

Popisuje výsledek diskuze v pracovní skupině v NATO Advanced Research Workshop o nových přístupech k diagnóze a léčení posttraumatického stresového chaosu. Bylo předneseno několik požadavků vzhledem k základním funkcím VRET systému. Většinou jsou zaměřeny na hledání lepších zp?sobů podpory léčby, pro lepší a účinnější léčbu. Vzdálená péče je jedna z nejslibnějších, ale velmi obtížná. Výsledky dávají směr pro základní i praktický výzkum.
