Original language description
The principle of ESPI (Q-600 instrument) visualization of vibrations a solid surface can be used also in visualization of acoustic fields. Since this ESPI visualization is based on the correlation of two speckle images and air particles don?t give speckle patterns, a trick must be applied. In such cases, a non moving solid surface in the background can be illuminated with ESPI through the parts of the air, where the different sound pressures are, and this surface is observed. The sound pressure changesthe refractive index of the air, in comparison to normal situation without this sound, so the velocity of radiation of the used laser light also changes. Then this non moving surface, at the ESPI picture, seems like it is in motion. In the presentation this referred principle are explained and the three factors, which influenced the results, are discussed.
