Network Performing Arts Production Workshop Prague - Vilnius performance
Original language description
Musicians at the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) and at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) in Vilnius performed together during the Network Performing Arts Production Workshop in Vilnius on September 11-13, 2024. In the second performance three music academies have been connected simultaneously. A pianist Lukáš Klánský at HAMU in Prague, a cellist Tomáš Jamník at JAMU in Brno and a violinist Jakub Pronskus at LMTA in Vilnius played the Piano Trio in G minor, Opus 15 by Bedřich Smetana. The event aimed to disseminate the results of the research into practice so that artists and the general public can become familiar with the possibilities of synchronous performance at a distance. The performance workshop took place as part of the NPAPW conference (a sample of the performance is on the linked website).
