In 2025 this conference became an international event in its twenty-second edition, thanks to the acceptance of the invitation of two artists from Portugal, the composer Jaime Reis and the flautist of Czech origin Monika Štreitová. A common theme has become multi-channel sound recording and its reproduction as a natural reaction to the events at the Faculty of Music and Dance, where the reconstruction of the HAMU Sound Studio to the Dolby Atmos format is currently underway. This year’s conference offered for the first time an invited lecture by Jaime Reis. There was discussed the topic of the conference from the point of view of musical aesthetics and the experience of the performers, and especially contributions from representatives of the younger generation, including doctoral students from various universities.
