The workshop took place from the 25-28 September 2023, at the ‘Photography and Society’ centre. Royal Academy of Arts (KABK), The Hague, Netherlands. This four-day workshop centred on the theme of my research at FAMU on scale and photography. A range of artists, photographers, journalists, documentary filmmakers and videographers from all over Europe took part in the workshop. The length and focus of the event allowed participants to explore in detail different aspects of the relationship between our conceptions of scale and our understanding of photography with reference to a wide range of practices and current debates.
