Reduction of NO by Hydrogen versus Reduction by CO over Pt, Pd and Rh Clusters in NaX Zeolite.
Original language description
The activation of hydrogen was examined by D 2 +H 2 reaction, that of CO by 13 CO+C 18 O scrambling and that of NO by NO decomposition. The CO+NO reaction as well as that of NO+H 2 and N 2 O with both reductants was compared over Pt, Pd and Rh clusters in NaX zeolite. The activity in NO+CO reaction decreased from Rh to Pd and Pt, in NO+H 2 reaction the opposite sequence was found. The N 2 O+H 2 reaction was easy over all metallic clusters, while that of N 2 O+CO proceeded worse.
