The Crossed-Beam Scattering Method in Studies of Ion-Molecule Reaction Dynamics.

Result description

An overview of experimental techniques and instrumentation used in beam scattering studies of the dynamics of elementary ion-molecule reactions is presented. Procedure used in processing and presenting the scattering data is summarized. Selected examplesof scattering studies are given to illustrate on some of the processes studied the achievements of this method in investigating ion-molecule dynamics, in particular the dynamics of chemical reactions of ions.
