Synthesis and Characterization of CoSBA-1 Cubic Mesoporous Molecular Sieves.

  • Original language description

CoSBA-1 with different Co(II) content (0.15-0.8 Co wt.) were synthesized under acidic conditions using CTE-ABr, TEOS and Co(II) acetate. XRD patterns evidenced well developped cubic phase SBA-1, nitrogen adsorption evidenced formation of mesoporous molecular sieves with pore size ca. 1.8nm and specific surface area 940-1430m2/g. Vis spectroscopy evidenced predominating presence of trigonally coordinated Co(II) ions located in the framework positions.
