The objective of the summer school was to inform the students of doctoral studies and undergraduates (from 10 universities) about the research in nanosciences in the Heyrovský Institute. The four fields of research (nanostructures in gas phase; biological nanostructures; carbon nanostructures; inorganic nanomaterials and their use in catalysis) were presented through 16 lectures and 9 exercises.

Czech description
Cílem školy bylo umožnit týdenní setkání studentů z 10 universit s vědeckými pracovníky z ÚFCH JH, kteří se zabývají výzkumem v oblasti ?nano?. Studenti byli informováni prostřednictvím 16 přednášek a 9 cvičení o výzkumu ve 4 výzkumných oblastech: nanostruktury v plynné fázi; biologické nanostruktury; uhlíkové nanostruktury a anorganické nanomateriály a jejich užití v katalýze.
