Electrochemistry of Phospholes
Original language description
Seventeen pentasubstituted phospholes with expected application in organic electronics werensynthesized and characterized electrochemically and by UV-vis spectra. Quantum chemicalncalculations ofredox potentials and HOMO-LUMO energies were performed and experimentalnand theoretical data were successfully correlated. Tuning of redox properties can be achievednby combination of induction and resonance effects of substituents, extension / diminution ofnthe pi- delocalized system and by steric changes which affect intramolecular electronncommunication.
