Original language description
The present invention relates to a method of production of perovskite structure catalysts for high temperature decomposition of N2O. The invention resolves total elimination of nitrous oxide on perovskite catalysts at high temperatures in a gas mixture, which corresponds to a composition under Pt-Rh sieves in processes oxidating ammonia to NO during nitric acid production technology. The invention describes procedures of synthesis of such catalysts, characterization and catalytic effect thereof under nitric acid production conditions (temperatures above 700 °C and gas flow 10 corresponding to GHSV 100,000 h- 1). The invention further relates to perovskite structure catalysts and use thereof for high temperature decomposition of N2O.
