Synthesis and antiproliferative activity of 2,6-diamino-9-benzyl-9-deazapurine and related compounds
Original language description
A series of 9-deazapurine-2,6-diamines bearing benzyl groups in positions N2, N6, and 9 was synthetized. Among them, 9, N2,N6-tribenzyl-9-deazapurine-2,6-diamine exhibited the best antiproliferative activity on CCRF-CEM, HL-60, HeLa S3, and L1210 cells:IC50 = 1.9, 2.7, 7.3, and 1.0 micromol/L
