Cloning and characterization of Sapp2p, the second aspartic proteinase isoenzyme from Candida parapsilosis
Original language description
Candida parapsilosis possesses 3 genes encoding secreted aspartic proteinases. The Sapp2p precursor was expressed in E. coli and purified. Autoactivation of pro-Sapp2p was inefficient and resulted in a protein extended by 8 amino acids at the N-terminus.The correct promature junction was cleaved by trypsin or by a membrane-bound Kex2-like proteinase from C. parapsilosis. The mature Sapp2p was proteolytically active and its substrate specificity differed from that of Sapp1p.

Klonování a charakterizace Sapp2p, druhého isoenzymu aspartátové proteázy z kvasinky Candida parapsilosis
