3-H Pregnenolone sulfate and 3-alfa-hydroxy-[3-H]pregnanolone sulfate were prepared by palladium catalysed reaction of unsaturated precursors with tritium gas in methanole. Binding experiments with tritiated 3-O-sulfates showed a kind of paradoxical binding, i.e. not only the labelled compounds were not displaced by the nonlabelled ones, but the amount of activity bound to membranes increased with the increasing concentration of the non-labelled compound.

Czech description
3-H Pregnenolone sulfát a 3-alfa-hydroxy-[3-H]pregnanolone sulfát byly připraveny palladiem katalyzovanou reakcí nenasycených prekurzorů s plynným tritiem v methanolu. Vazebné experimenty s tritiem značenými 3-O-sulfáty odhalily neobvyklou koncentrační závislost vazby tritiem značených ligandů na membrány. Namísto očekávaného poklesu membránově vázané radioaktivity se zvyšující se koncentrací neznačeného ligandu docházelo naopak k jejímu růstu.
