Dehydration and Dehydrogenation of Alcohols with Mononuclear Cationic Vanadium Oxides in the Gas Phase and Energetics of VOnH0/+ (n = 2, 3)
Original language description
The ion/molecule reactions of simple alkanols with the vanadium oxide cations VO+ and VO2+ are studied by Fourier-transform ion-cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry. Dehydrogenation is the dominating reaction pathway for methanol and allyl alcohols.
Czech name
Dehydratace a dehydrogenace alkoholů pomoci kationtu mononukleárního oxidu vanadia v plynné fázi a energetika VOnH0/+ (n = 2, 3)
Czech description
Iontově molekulové reakce jednoduchých alkanolů s kationty oxidů vanadu VO+ and VO2+ byly zkoumány iontovou cyklotronovou rezonanční hmotnostní spektrometrií s Fourierovou transformací. Dominantní reakční cesta pro methanol a allylové alkoholy je dehydrogenace.
