Two plausible mechanisms of 9-aminoacridines drugs were proposed and discussed. The first one suggesting competitive inhibition to prion-DNA binding. The second one dealing with covalent modification of prion by acridine.

Czech description
Dva plausibilní machanismy vysvětlující působení 9-aminoakridinových léčiv byly navrženy a diskutovány. První předpokládá kompetitivní inhibici vazby prionu k DNA. Druhý pracuje s kovalentní modifikací prionů.
