Synthesis of alpha-carboxyphosphinopeptides derived from norleucine

  • Original language description

In the present study, we describe in detail the synthesis of a relatively rare class of phosphorus compounds, a-carboxyphosphinopeptides. We prepared several norleucine-derived a-carboxyphosphinic pseudopeptides of the general formula Nle-[PO(OH)]-Gly. These compounds could find important applications as inhibitors of metalloaminopeptidases.
