Study of Transport of Biologically Important Compounds innEnvironment across Biological Membranes and Development ofnMethods for their Determinations
Original language description
Different models ofphospholipi d membranes (PLMs) have been used for better understanding ofnproperties and functions of real biologic al membranes. Mechanisms of transporting processes and propertiesnof membranes were investigated using planar (supported) PLMs. T heir electrochemical behavior was stud iednby electrochemical impedance spectros copy (EIS). This technique was utilized to monitor fo rm ation, stability, nand transporting process across the supported PLMs (s -PLMs). The investigated synthet ic membranes werencharacterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM) too. The methods fo r isolation of protoplasts from plantncells were modified, adopted and optimized to obtain the cytoplasmic membranes containing specificntransporting systems. Ithas not been poss ible to fix the protoplasts in substrate pores. Therefore, thenprotoplasts were destroyed and model phos pholipids (lecithin) were mixed with these parts of real protoplasts, nwhich contain real ion and other s pecies t
