The second annual conference NIVB Meeting was held in Kutná Hora from 2 to 5 October. Virologists and bacteriologists from all over the Czech Republic discussed scientific issues, established new collaborations and informed the wider scientific community about new developments, trends and problems in these scientific fields. The NIVB Meeting was attended by all members of the International Scientific Advisory Board. The NIVB Meeting is a unique opportunity for scientists from different disciplines to meet and share their research. New results of the virological and bacteriological research were presented (either as lectures or as posters), including topics such as antibiotics resistance and new anti-viral strategies, immune response etc. nConference was supported by the National Institute of Virology and Bacteriology (Program EXCELES, ID Project No. LX22NPO5103) funded by the European Union–Next Generation EU.n
