On 15th and 16th February, the Czechoslovak Virology Conference was held in the Auditorium of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The conference successfully brought together scientists working in all areas of virology, from basic to applied and clinical research. The conference covered a wide range of topics including viral ecology, evolution, epidemiology, plant virology, clinical virology, antiviral agents, virus-host interactions, antiviral immunity, molecular and structural virology, viral protein biochemistry and many more.nConference was supported by the National Institute of Virology and Bacteriology (Program EXCELES, ID Project No. LX22NPO5103) funded by the European Union–Next Generation EU.n
