Physiological responses and central nervous projections of antennal olfactory receptor neurons in the sphinx moth, Manduca sexta (Lepidoptera, Sphingidae).
Original language description
Physiological investigation of olfactory receptor neurons (ORN)s in M. sexta long sensilla trichodea confirmed already known fact that majority ORNs are sensitive to E10, Z12-hexadecadienal (bombykal) and E10,E12,Z14-hexadecatrienal. New types of ORNs tuned to E10,E12-hexadecadienal and Z11-hexadecadienal were found.
