Elevated concentrations of Mn and increased activities of ligninolytic enzymes in the core of F. fomentarius fruit body were found. The presence of free radicals was also found, confirming radical mechanisms of lignin and cellulose decomposition. A metaldistribution patterns were also described.

Distribuce kovů a enzymových aktivit v dřevní hmotě a plodnicích hub
Czech description
V jádře plodnice Fomes fomentarius byly nalezeny zvýšené hodnoty Mn, aktivit ligninolytických enzymů. Současně byla prokázána i přítomnost radikálů, což potvrzuje radikálový mechanismus rozkladu ligninu a celulózy.
