Original language description
Lytophilippines A?C, new chloro-containing macrolactones, were isolated from the Red Sea hydroid Lytocarpus philippinus and their structures were elucidated by IR, UV, MS, 1H and 13C NMR, and by chemical degradation. The compounds gave positive results in the crown gall tumor inhibition test and brine shrimp toxicity assay.

Lytophilippiny A?C jsou nové chlor obsahující makrolaktony izolované z nezmara Lytocarpus philippinus z Rudého moře a jejich struktura byla zjištěna IR, UV, MS, 1H a 13C NMR, a chemickou degradací. Sloučeniny dávají pozitivní výsledky v crown gall tumorinhibičním testu a brine shrimp toxicity zjištění.
