Physiological regulation of yeast cell death in multicellular colonie is triggered by ammonia

  • Original language description

Ammonia signal emitted by colonies triggers metabolic changes that restrict cell death only to the centre of S. cerevisiae colony. The rest of the population can exploit released nutrients and survives. In colonies defective in Sok2p transcription factorthat are not able to produce ammonia, cell death is spread throughout the whole colony

  • Czech name

Fyziologická regulace buněčné smrti kvasinek v mnohobuněčných koloniích je spouštěna amoniakem
