Oligosaccharides produced by submerged cultures of C. africana and C. sorghi were isolated by semipreparative HPLC. Structures of 6-O-D-fructofuranosyl-D-glucopyranose (blastose), 1,6-di-O-(D-fructofuranosyl)D-glucopyranoside neokestose) and two sugar alcohols, 1-O-D-fructofuranosyl-D-mannitol (fructosyl-mannitol) and 1,6-di-O-(D-fructofuranosyl)-D-mannitol (difructosyl-mannitol) were determined by NMR spectrometry

Struktury 6-O-D-fruktofuranosyl-D-glukopyranosa (blastosa); 1,6-di-O-(D-fruktofuranosyl)D-glukopyranosid (neokestosa) a dvou cukerných alkoholů, 1-O-D-fruktofuranosyl-D-manitol a 1,6-di-O-(D-fruktofuranosyl)-D-manitol byly určeny pomocí NMR
