E1 Enzyme of the Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Complex in Corynebacterium glutamicum: Molecular Analysis of the Gene and Phylogenetic Aspects
Original language description
The Corynebacterium glutamicum aceE gene, encoding the E1p enzyme which is an essential part of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex and catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate, was analyzed. Inactivation of this gene lead to inability to growon glucose. The E1p of C. glutamicum shows high similarity to homodimeric E1p proteins from gram-negative bacteria

Enzym E1 z pyruvátdehydrogenasového komplexu Corynebacterium glutamicum: Molekulární analýza genu a fylogenetické aspekty
