GC-MS structural characterization of fatty acids from marine aerobic anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria

Result description

Fatty acid composition has been analysed in 12 strains of aerobic anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria belonging to group of Erythrobacter, Roseobacter a Citromicrobium. All strains contained rare 11-methyl-octadeca-12-enoic acid and three of them containedso far unidentified 12-methyl-okcadeca-11-enoinc acid. In 9 species the analysis revelead high content of oktadeca-5,11-dienic acid. A fatty acid containing furan was detected in 3 species and the detailed analysis suggested that it might be 10,13-epoxy-11-methyl-octadeca-10,12-dienic acid

GC-MS strukturní charakterizace mastných kyselin z mořských aerobních anoxygenních fototrofních bakterií

  • Czech description

10,13-epoxy-11-methyloctadeca-10,12-dienovou
