Feedback-resistant acetohydroxy acid synthase increases valine production in Corynebacterium glutamicum
Original language description
Mutation in the regulatory subunit of acetohydroxy acid synthase from Corynebacterium glutamicum, the key enzyme of biosynthesis of brached-chain amino acids, resulted in feedback resistant enzyme. The strains carrying this mutation in the chromosome produced more valine than their wild-type counterparts.
Czech name
Synthasa acetohydroxykyselin, rezistentní k inhibici zpětnou vazbou, zvyšuje produkci valinu u Corynebacterium glutamicum
Czech description
Mutace v regulační podjednotce synthasy acetohydroxykyselin z Corynebacterium glutamicum (klíčový enzym biosyntézy větvených aminokyselin) vedla k enzymu rezistentnímu k inhibici zpětnou vazbou. Kmeny s touto mutací v chromosomu produkovaly více valinu než původní kmen.
