Use of the industrial yeast Candida utilis for cadmium sorption
Original language description
Low-concentrated solutions removal of copper ions by Streptomyces noursei mycelium in comparison to yeast biomass effect. This paper compares sorption properties of Streptomyces noursei mycelium for copper ions with accumulating competence of dried and native Candida utilis yeast biomass. After an optimization of process conditions it was found the copper sorption capacity of S. noursei is perceptibly more efficient than that of the other tested adsorbents. Considering the sorption of the mycelium equalto 100%, the dried yeast biomass reached 82% and the native one showed 48% only

Použití průmyslových kvasinek Candida utilit pro sorbci kadmia
Czech description
Odstranění měďnatých iontů z nízko koncentrovaného roztoku pomocí mycelia Streptomyces noursei a srovnání s biomasou kvasinek.
