Original language description

We examined the spatial pattern of the distribution of aerobic and anaerobic photosynthetic bacteria in the Black Sea in June 2001. Aerobic photosynthetic bacteria were distributed together with chlorophyll-containing phytoplankton in the upper, aerobicportion of the water column, confirming their exclusive requirement for oxygen. Seven strains of aerobic photosynthetic bacteria were isolated and partially characterized.

Přítomnost aerobních a anaerobních fotosyntetických bakterií v Černém moři byla sledována v červnu 2001. Aerobní fotosyntetické bakterie byly společně s fytoplanktonem přítomny ve svrchní aerobní části vodního sloupce. Sedm kmenů aerobních fotosyntetických bakterií bylo vyizolováno a částečně charakterizováno
