Chloride concentration affects soil microbial community

  • Original language description

The effect of increased inorganic chloride concentration on spruce forest soil microflora in a laboratory experiment was studied. T-RFLP analysis revealed a strong effect of chloride on occurrence of several microbial genotypes and an unidentified microorganism was found to be associated with increased rate of chlorination of humic acid. High chloride concentration tended to decrease the rate of degradation of trichloroacetic acid. The problems connected with measurement of chlorination rates in the soil are discussed

Koncentrace chloridu ovlivňuje společenstvo půdních mikroorganismů
