Dysfunction of mitochondria and disintegration of the cytoskeleton on the pathway of cancer transformation damages Fröhlichs electromagnetic field in the cell. Defective electromagnetic field results in disturbed organization and interactions between cells. Mechanisms of malignity (local invasion, metastasis) is assumed to be caused by the defects of the cellular electromagnetic fields , i.e. by low excitation and disturbed coherence.
