Physico-chemical models of glass melting
Original language description
The partial models of the glass melting process may be classified into class of models of melt behavior, particle (inhomogeneity) behavior models and models of component or particle distribution in the space. Some models take into account the mutual influences of inhomogeneities and glass melt. The partial models may be completed into more complex models describing the examined process as is sand particle dissolution, bubble removing during glass melting or crystal settling during vitrification of highly radioactive waste.
