Characterization of magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles
Original language description
Magnetic nanoparticles have promising applications in many areas, for example optics, electronics, biology, medicine, etc. The main goal of this study is to synthezise and characterize ?-Fe2O3 magnetic nanoparticles embedded in amorphous SiO2 matrix. TheMössbauer spectroscopy analysis of the samples was complemented by the study of X-ray powder diffraction and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy.
