Original language description
Elastic wave propagation in thin-wall structures is strongly affected by geometrical dispersion effects. To better understand the wave frequency dependednt behavior, experiments observing elastic wave generated by pulse laser were realized. Results of complex signal analysis demonstrate the influence of plate thickness on the wave attenuation caused by dispersion effects.
