Original language description
The response of a CTA hot-wire anemometer on a water droplet impact is investigated. Characteristic shape of the CTA-output response signal after a jewater jet impact was ascertained. This knowledge was applied to an analysis of time records made in thevicinity of the LP stage of turbine. Statistical estimates of the occurrence and frquency of large droplets in the wet steam flow are presented.
