The ERCOFTAC Winterschool on Environmental and Industrial CFD Simulations was organised by the ERCOFTAC Czech Pilot Centre with the seat in the Institute of Thermomechanics. The aim of the winterschool was to give an extensive overview of the CFD simulations in the environmental and industrial problems. The actual state of the art of CFD simulations in both applications was presented with special attempt on common points and differences of these two specific areas of the CFD usage.

Czech description

ERCOFTAC zimní škola o CFD simulacích pro aplikace v průmyslu a životním prostředí byla organizována Českým pilotním centrem ERCOFTAC, které sídlí v Ústavu termomechanky. Cílem zimní školy bylo dát rozsáhlý přehled o CFD simulacích problémů v průmyslových aplikacích a v životním prostředí. Současný stav CFD simulací v obou aplikacích byl prezentován se speciálním zaměřením na společném body a zvláštnosti těchto specifických oblastí použití CCFD metod.
