Evaluation of Hindle Set-up Mechanical Errors Effect in Interferometric Hyperbolic Optical Surfaces Testing
Original language description
This paper presents a basis of numerical program for evaluation of mechanical adjustment errors on the wavefront deformation in the case of surface quality measurement of current production parameters of hyperbolic optical surfaces by means of Hindle setup interferometric measurement. This classical technique was devised for the measurement of large dimension hyperboloidal secondary mirrors of astronomical telescopes. But today hyperbolic optics elements dimensions are in order of many times smaller, and the influence of adjustment errors on to quality measurement is not negligible. A numerical evaluation of acceptable errors for testing was done and presented too. A numerical simulation of individual interference patterns of each error is also presented.
