Original language description
This contribution focuses on the comparison of the velocity profiles and the root-mean-squares of the velocities of the synthetic and continuous jets. The comparison is based on the hot-wire data measured in air. In addition, the formation criterion forthe synthetic jet has also been determined and compared with the available literature.

Czech description
Porovnání rychlostních profilů a středních kvadratických odchylek rychlostí syntetizovaných a kontinuálních proudů je provedeno na základě výsledků experimentů. Kritérium vzniku syntetizovaného proudu je z naměřených dat určeno a porovnáno s publikovanými údaji.
