  • Original language description

    Current mechatronic and mechanical evices are designed to maximize performance. Aerostatic gas bearings are often used to support high speed rotors with higher loads. To determine the rotor stability limits, precise gas film stiffness and damping valuesare necessary to be determined. There are already algorithms for calculation of aerostatic journal bearings stiffness and damping available, but up to now they were not experimantally verified and experimental results published.
