    Numerical approximations of flow induced vibrations of vocal folds

    The paper is interested in numerical modelling of incompressible channel flow interacting with vibrating elastic part of channel walls simulating vocal fold oscillations. The flow in the deforming two-dimensional axisymmetric domain is governed by the Navier-Stokes equations in the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) form. The vibrating glottal region is governed by a ?three-mass model. The numerical results for the channel flow and the vibrating vocal folds are presented for different inlet velocity and prephonatory glottal gap.
