    Extensive experimental research of reduction of undesirable turbine blade vibration is carried out in laboratories of the Institute of Thermomechanics ASCR. For detail discovering of friction processes and their influence on blades vibration the dynamicstests of separated blade couple connected by a friction element were performed. This experimental research was completed by additional analytical and numerical solution of simplified mathematical model. The new information on the vibration of friction element in the inter-head slot at different support and friction conditions were gained. Influence of friction element motion on response curves of blades models is analyzed as well.
