This paper deals with numerical modelling of the development of the boundary layer in transonic turbine blade cascade. The main attention is paid to studying the influence of the supersonic compression on the boundary layer transition to the turbulence.The limiting Reynolds number at which the transition occurs still in region of the supersonic compression was found.
