Original language description
Nucleation in binary cavitating systems is described with the multicomponent form of the classical nucleation theory (CNT). Four binary mixtures are studied, diethylether ? nitro- gen, propane ? carbon dioxide, isobutane ? carbon dioxide, and chlorodifluoromethane ? carbon dioxide, whose experimental nu- cleation rates are available in the literature.
