Numerical solution of elastic wave propagation by isogeometric analysis
Original language description
In this work, the B-spline FEM (Isogeometric analysis) is tested in numerical modelling in elastic wave propagation problems. The continuous Galerkin?s approximation method with spatial discretization by splines is employed and for the time integration,the Newmark method, the central difference method and the generalized-alpha method are compared. This approach is tested in wave propagation in an elastic bar and thick plates.
