    Comparison of Various Laminar/Turbulent Transition Models

  • Original language description

    The transition model with the algebraic equation for the intermittency coefficient proposed for the bypass transition was modified for modelling of the transition at low free-stream turbulence. Further, the three-equation k-kL-omega model and the Xfoil program were used for the comparison. All models were tested by means of the incompressible flow around the flat plate and symmetrical airfoils at moderate and very low free-stream turbulence
