Dosimetric and microdosimetric characteristics of high energy proton beams.

  • Original language description

The results of dosimetric and microdosimetric studies in high energy radiotherapy proton beams are described, discussed and analyzed in the work. Particular a Hention is dusted to the contribution of high LET secondary particles to the dose. As a method,a LET spectrometer based on the chemically etched PADC track detector was used. It was found that the contribution of particles mentioned to the both dose car reach up to several percents.
