A purpose of this article is to present the first data of the atmospheric C-14 monitoring in CO2 form. In the Prague-Bulovka locality atmospheric CO2 have been continuously collected by absorption in 0,7M NaOH solution. The samples were one month cumulated. Afterwards, the CO2 was extracted from the NaOH solution and benzene was synthesised. The benzene was measured by liquid scintillation counting (LSC). The monitoring results from January to July 2001 period are discussed and compared with the resultsfrom other countries.
