    Characteristic merits of photoproduction of hypernuclei are clarified with presentation of the calculated excitation functions for typical p-shell species. In the second half, importance of detailed hypernuclear structure analyses is emphasized so as tofind possible ways of improving the hyperon-nucleon potential models through specific interaction such as spin-orbit and spin-spin comonents.
