In situ SANS investigation of precipitate microstructure at elevated temperatures in Re-rich Ni-base superalloy.
Original language description
The gamma'-precipitate microstructure in a rhenium-containing single-crystal Ni-base superalloy was investigated at high temperatures in situ by small-angle neutron scattering. The temperature dependence of the gamma'-phase volume fraction and other parameters were determined from the anisotropic scattering curves. The results are compared with a recently reported high-temperature experiment carried out on a similar Re-rich alloy.
